    Many of our staff have worked at the home for more than 10 years, six of which have been here since opening in 1989/1990. Two of these staff have recently stepped down from their managerial positions to take on care rolls. This has made way for us to employ a new manager, who has been working with us for a year, to take the home forward into the future. This still gives us a stable core of staff with a wealth of experience and expertise which together as a team with the new manager, allows us to maintain a continuity of care and resident staff familiarity.

    All staff are fully DBS vetted and have full training in fire safety, first aid, moving & handling and safeguarding adults.

    Additional training in dementia care, medication administration, food hygiene, continence, optical awareness,  amongst other areas are also provided to ensure staff have up-to-date knowledge of best practice.
