-We care -

Our aim is to nurture an atmosphere of care and support which enables each and every resident to live as full, interesting and independent, a life as possible; all within a warm, comfortable and homely environment.

Through our holistic approach to the planning and delivery of care, the involvement of residents, their families and health professionals, we ensure the most appropriate level of care and supervision is given to each resident.

Safety and physical well-being are, naturally, of paramount importance. Though in addition, here at Little Heaton, residents are actively encouraged to take part in activities and events that stimulate both the mind and spirit too.

-The home -

Little Heaton is set over 3 floors, served by a stair lift, passenger lift and three stairwells which allows for easy access for residents throughout the building.

2 double rooms compliment 21 single ones of which there are 8 rooms on the ground floor and 7 en suite rooms.

All bedrooms are fitted with smoke detectors and nurse-call systems; adding to safety and security whilst not compromising   privacy.

A spacious lounge and dining area, equipped with a large television, hi-fi and a piano complimented by a smaller lounge and a quiet reading area, provide a variety of spaces for residents to relax and socialize.

7 toilets and assisted/independent bathing facilities are interspersed throughout the home providing easy access for all.

A pleasant outside area furnished with seating and decorated with hanging baskets, tubs and a water feature provides an additional recreational space in which residents can enjoy the open air.

-Your care plan -

We value individuals. Our aim is to enable residents to enjoy life to the full, in happy and comfortable surroundings, with high quality care which begins by involving residents with all decisions that will affect their lives.

Good care respects each individual’s rights to privacy, choice, dignity and independence. Above and beyond these basic provisions, we also ensure the specific needs of residents are addressed, taking into account personal, social, religious and cultural interests.

An individualized care plan is then created for each resident to enable them the best quality of life supported by the highest standards of care.

We have been awarded Rochdale Council Dignity Award for the past 2 years running.
